Join us as we mark 50 years since the Renton Report with a two-day conference on Legislation and the Constitution. Experts will explore its lasting impact and the future of statute law.
The Statute Law Society was founded in 1968 and has members throughout Britain and the Commonwealth, and elsewhere. The Society is a charitable body which aims to educate the legal profession and the public about the legislative process, with a view to encouraging improvements in statute law.
The Society fulfils its brief by:
Holding events such as lectures and conferences to stimulate and inform debate about legislation and the legislative process.
Statute Law Society Council Members
The current President of the Society is Lord Sales, Justice of the Supreme Court. The Hon Mr Justice Garnham is the Chairman of the Council.
